FOUNDER Inez Walker's Biography
Inez Walker is the Founder of the Refuge Healing Church located in Monroe, Louisiana. She was in full-time ministry for over 30 years under the direct influence of the Holy Spirit. She was a bold messenger of the uncompromising Word of God as well as a prophetic preacher and teacher. Pastor Inez Walker would bring you face to face with the truth and the reality of Jesus Christ. The hearer would be activated to total freedom. God endowed her life with the mandate to carry out the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a healing and deliverance ministry, which has touched the lives of many. She was also a TV evangelist on the KMCT-TV Lamb broadcasting Network of the ARK-LA-MISS area. She was an anointed Woman of God, psalmist, and prayer warrior. She resides in Monroe, Louisiana, where she is the mother of six beloved children.
Founder/Overseer transitioned to her heavenly home on January 13, 2025. She left her mantle of pastorship in the capable hands of her daughter, Dr. Sherita Walker Williams, and husband, Segrick Williams (Deacon Shun). Her mandate of a prayer warrior she passed to the Co-Pastor, Sarah Ross. The business officer/administrator for the church to Prophet Theallas Walker.
BIO OF PASTOR SHERITA WILLIAMS,
Willie Sherita Walker Williams was born to the late and great Overseer Walker and late Willie Driver. She preached her first sermon in 1998. She labored in ministry with her mother by having taught Sunday School, led praise and worship, led the youth department, and was the financial secretary. She was licensed to Pastor in 2007. She was trained, coached, and groomed by Overseer Walker to Pastor. She is a doctorally prepared registered nurse. With over 28 years of practice. She has been married since 1993 to Segrick Shundell Williams Sr. together they have 4 children with 2 grandchildren.
Refuge Mission
- The Refuge Healing Church Ministry Chapter 1 is called to restore a broken, injured and suffering spirit of a man or woman to wholeness through the preaching and teaching of God's word.
- Refuge will continue spiritual support and growth through fasting and praying until complete deliverance and restoration takes place.
Refuge is impacting the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ with realness and a holy lifestyle.
